EPROM erasing using an LED - 2023
Is it possible to erase an EPROM using an ordinary UV-A LED?
Yes!
It might take a while, but it does work. It took about 24 hours for a single 5050 smd UV-A LED at 50mA to completely erase 128kB M27C1001 EPROM memory. The first bits became erased after about 12 hours.
